With over 1600 sites and apps using our tech, we currently have over 1 trillion ads served to date, and over 1 billion ad impressions daily. The Opportunity

We are looking for a resourceful Software Engineer who loves tackling tangible problems and shipping code that matters. In this high-impact role, your work directly contributes to our revenue generation, and you'll see the results of the code you ship in near real-time through our analytics platform. You’ll be on the front lines, working with our publisher partners to implement, debug, and optimize our JavaScript-based solutions on their websites.

You're the right fit if you enjoy thinking on your feet and finding creative solutions. You’ll start by mastering our client-side integrations, becoming an expert on how our technology creates value. As you grow with us, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to our core products and internal tools, shaping the future of our platform.

What you'll do:

• Write, deploy, and maintain custom JavaScript solutions for our diverse range of publisher websites.
• Dive into different codebases (both ours and our clients') to debug challenging issues and ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Collaborate directly with our partners via Slack and email to understand their needs and provide technical solutions.
• Design and implement A/B tests, using our analytics platform to measure the impact of your changes and drive revenue lift.

What we're looking for:

• We’re open to a range of experiences, from promising junior engineers to seasoned mid-level and senior developers.
• A Strong Foundation in JavaScript (ES6+). You are comfortable writing clean, efficient JS that runs directly in the browser, independent of major frameworks.
• A Natural Problem-Solver. You have excellent debugging skills and enjoy the challenge of troubleshooting unfamiliar code and third-party systems.
• A Pragmatic Mindset. You are resourceful and scrappy, focused on finding the best solution quickly rather than the perfect one eventually.
• Comfort in a Fast-Paced Environment. You thrive in a startup culture where you can take ownership, operate with autonomy, and adapt to changing priorities.

Bonus points (nice to have, not required):

• Experience with advertising technology:
• Google Publisher Tag (gpt.js)
• Header bidding with Prebid.js and/or Amazon
• Video (instream and outstream)
• Experience with TypeScript
• Familiarity with AWS (S3, CloudFront), Cloudflare, Vercel, and Next.js
