About Aditude:
We're really, really into ad ops tech (really). At Aditude we want to help our publishers maximize revenue and make their lives easier with smarter, faster, more innovative, and more customized technology. In 2023, we raised 15 million in Series A funding led by Volition Capital allowing us to add to our team and further our mission of helping publishers do what they do better. With over 1600 sites and apps using our tech, we currently have over 1 trillion ads served to date, and over 1 billion ad impressions daily. With the recent acquisition of Hashtag Labs, we only expect this number to continue to grow exponentially. We are looking for team members who are obsessed with supporting our publishers, who default to action, and who enjoy solving complex problems. If that sounds like you, we are excited to connect!
The opportunity:
We're looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team and help turn data into decisions. You'll write SQL, build dashboards, model data, and partner with teams across the business to answer their hardest questions. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves digging into data, asking "why," and making complex information easy to understand.
You'll work closely with stakeholders across the company — and occasionally directly with customers — to pull data, build reports, and surface insights that drive the business forward. If you're curious about how programmatic advertising works under the hood, even better.
What you'll do:
- Write and optimize SQL queries against our Snowflake data warehouse to answer business and customer questions
- Build and maintain dashboards and visualizations in tools like Looker, Mode, or Tableau
- Design and develop data models that make analysis faster and more reliable for the whole team
- Partner with internal teams and external customers to gather requirements, scope analyses, and deliver polished reporting
- Debug data issues — trace unexpected numbers back to their source, validate pipelines, and communicate findings clearly
- Document your work so others can build on it
- Juggle multiple requests and prioritize based on impact
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in a BI, analytics, or data analyst role
- Strong SQL skills — you're comfortable with joins, window functions, CTEs, and writing performant queries against large datasets
- Hands-on experience with a BI/visualization tool — Tableau, Looker, Mode, or similar
- Solid grasp of data modeling concepts — star schemas, fact vs. dimension tables, grain, normalization trade-offs
- Strong attention to detail — you care about whether a number is right, whether a chart is formatted well, and whether a stakeholder will actually understand what you've built
- Comfort working independently — you can take a vague question, figure out what's really being asked, and come back with a clear answer
- Great communication — you can explain a technical finding to a non-technical audience without losing the nuance
- Genuine curiosity — you want to understand not just the data but the business behind it
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members of varying technical backgrounds.
Nice to have:
- Experience with a cloud data warehouse (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
- Light Python or scripting experience for automation and one-off analysis
- Exposure to programmatic advertising, ad tech, or related domains (SSPs, DSPs, Prebid, Google Ad Manager, OpenRTB) — or strong interest in learning
- Familiarity with Git and version-controlled analytics workflows (dbt, LookML, etc.)
- Comfort working with APIs to pull data from third-party platforms
Feeling uneasy that you haven’t ticked every box? That’s okay, we’ve felt that way too. Studies have shown women and minorities are less likely to apply unless they meet all qualifications. We encourage you to break the status quo and apply to roles that would make you excited to come to work every day.
Why join Aditude:
- Salary: In this role, you’ll receive a competitive base salary in addition to bonus potential.
- 100% remote with a global footprint
- Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
- Unlimited Time Off + 11 Holidays + Christmas week to recharge
- Opportunity to join a fast growing technology company!
