So 2023, although not over, has been a rollercoaster of emotions for us. We've tripled our team size, snagged some capital, and grew in a down market. Aditude's been beating the odds, but let's keep it real – not everything's all sunshine and rainbows. Online advertising took a hit this year, with Q1 outpacing most of Q2, Q3, and Q4. We've had two wars, record inflation, and interest rates more than doubled in the last year. All of us have been impacted by 2023, but here at Aditude, we're coming out on top, stronger than ever.

Our Aditude publishers? They’re doing amazing! While others were down 30% or more, most Aditude publishers were holding steady or even boosting their CPM compared to last year. In this tightening market with new rules and increased competition, we're working hard to squeeze out that extra one percent – because every bit counts, and we know it helps.

For us, 2023 has been focused on strategic reinvestment in our business to enhance existing products and develop new ones. We've expanded our Cloud Wrapper significantly, introducing a range of new features such as optimized lazy loading and timeouts tailored to specific browsers, operating systems, devices, and regions. This has positioned our wrapper as the most lightweight option available. Building on this success, we've launched a hosting platform that now supports seamless full-site migrations. With an impressive monthly traffic of nearly 1 billion pageviews, we are reshaping how publishers perceive content management systems. Over the last 60 days, our video solution has experienced a remarkable 10x scale increase, while our automated flooring has rapidly gained adoption across 100+ publishers within weeks. Our analytics platform, currently in alpha testing, promises an amazing user experience. This marks just the beginning of our journey, and we are excited about the future possibilities!

Let’s walk through what we accomplished in 2023:

  • Inc. Regionals Northeast in February – Aditude was named No. 46 on the Inc. Regionals: Northeast list of fastest-growing companies in America. 
  • CFO joined in April – Aditude welcomed Josh Schenker as our first CFO. Josh has spent the last 9 years in the ad tech space in corporate development, operations, and multiple C-level positions.
  • GCPP in June – Years of hard work paid off, and Aditude was officially recognized as a Google Certified Publishing Partner.
  • Inc. 5000 List in August – Aditude secured an impressive No. 450 spot on the prestigious Inc. 5000 list with a growth rate of 1277%.
  • Series A Funding in August – Aditude successfully raised $15M in Series A funding, marking a significant step towards accelerating the adoption of our game-changing ad ops technology. 
  • Team Retreat in September – Aditude's team came together from across North America for an unforgettable company retreat at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL. 
  • Cloud Wrapper turned 2 in October – It’s hard to believe that our wrapper is only two years old and powering hundreds of billions of impressions. 
  • Ended off the event season with Prebid Summit in October – From Beeler Basecamp in Newport Beach and Edinburgh, Digiday Vail and Miami, AdMonsters Publisher Forum, to Prebid Summit in New York, Aditude attended and sponsored industry events across the country!
  • Launched Android SDK – Aditude now offers SDK on Android (and soon iOS) to our publishers. 
  • Dynamic Flooring was refined in November – Aditude launched its new automated flooring, which has shown remarkable results, delivering exceptional outcomes for our publishers.
  • Hired our 20th employee in December – From a small team of 7, we now have 20 employees, and we’re continuing to grow our team to service our publishers.
  • Finishing off the year with processing millions of impressions and data points – From a few million impressions an hour, we now deliver a few million a minute and currently process over 14 trillion data points daily.

Looking back at 2023, it's pretty clear that Aditude has done some serious growing up. Big shoutout to our amazing team of ad ops, rev ops, and engineering wizards – you guys rock! As we keep on growing, we're doubling down on our promise to publishers. We will continue to innovate, optimize, and put even more effort into our on-demand support. We are beyond excited for 2024 as we continue to change the ad ops world for the better!
